2011 Europe by Rail – Day 25

 The famous & towers – a view to a kill Sunday – we wake to blue skies and the promise of another fine day.  Today we visit the Pantheon, the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysee, three famous French institutions.

2011 Europe by Rail – Day 24

VERSAILLES – sun gods and revolutions Saturday – another full day excursion, this time we are visiting with Louis XIV at the Chateau de Versailles.  It is going to be a big day so I may have to split this post as well.

2011 Europe by Rail – Day 22

PARIS – the frustration continues Thursday – after our abomination of an overnight trip – we arrive in Paris hungry, unwashed and not in the best of humour.  Hopefully things will improve and we will enjoy our stay in the City of Light.
