ST HELENS – shopping for provisions

Friday – after a good night’s sleep and waking to realise that I am not in my bed thousands of miles away it is time to greet the day and have some brekkie.  Of course I have brought with me the trusty Vegemite – can’t go anywhere without that so it’s Vegemite toast and coffee with hazelnut creamer. Yummo.

With brekkie over and done with, we head on out to Costco to buy some goodies for the trip and then it’s off to Petco for supplies for the four footed members of the family so they will be well looked after until our return.  It is about 3.30pm when we arrive back home and then after stashing everything away it’s off to Tyler’s parents for a BBQ Dinner.

Chris and Paul have done some lovely t-bone steak and salads and it was very enjoyable.  I just love a good steak especially when it is done on the barbie.  We did not make it a late night as we had to finish packing so that we can get an early start tomorrow  Well, that’s the plan – let’s see how it goes.
